The new collection is led by environmental and feminist changemaker Lourdes “Lola” Leon, who choreographed and co-directed the AW20 collection shoot with Anna Pollack. AW20 evolves aSMC’s signature blend of innovation and style – precisely balancing performance, fashion and sustainability, made mostly with recycled polyester, showing respect to the ground you run on and the air you breathe.
“This collection is made for today’s generation. We have pushed the boundaries of innovation to consciously create bold, standout pieces that fuse high fashion and performance, while reducing our impact on the planet,” says Stella McCartney, the British designer.
The color range of the collection is mostly with black and white of leopard all over prints, combined with bright orange and dark ash beige details from crop top, running jacket, longtights, to shoes, and many others. The jacket was wrought from 100% recycled polyester ripstop and the inner mesh lining of the jacket provides ample airflow, so you don’t overheat while working up a sweat.The jacket is packable and can be turned into a bag.
The 74% recycled polyester seamless crop long sleeve top, in black and ash colors of adidas by Stella McCartney, encourages both, stepping you out in a bold animal print and total comfort.
The outdoor boost shoe, TERREX, GORE-TEX waterproof technology in fresh colorways. The outsole which offers confident grip even in wet conditions and stay dry with durable, windproof, and waterproof RAIN.RDY materials and set on an energy-returning boost midsole.
Sustainability is the future of fashion-led performance wear. The season includes two key drops: Workout Wardrobe, with versatile pieces that take you from the studio to the street; and the Winter Capsule, incorporating key weather-focused innovations to enable climate-resistant training or for an everyday statement look.
