Raku Inoue, a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Montreal, Canada – has been focusing on nature and creating floral arrangements “Natura Insects & Animals”, an art serie of various insects and animals shapes by using freshly cut leaves and flowers, until today.
Lately Inoue creating the iconic fashion brands’ motifs, logos, monograms all over print as part of his Natura Patterns collection. “As inspiration, I have selected 9 iconic motifs of the fashion world which I made my own reinterpretation of, “said Raku Inoue in late July 2020 in his Instagram page @reikan_creations, where he posts his creation weekly.
The 9 fashion brands are Versace – Louis Vuitton – Prada – Fendi – Dior – Burberry – Gucci – Paisley – and Maison Goyard in order after Versace:…

“There was a time when I was really into making patterns. At that time, I was mainly using digital applications such as Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop as tools so today, I thought about revisiting my love of motifs,” said Raku Inoue in his Instagram.

He would also take leftovers rose petals from his yard and nearby florists. And occasionally people will send him plants from other parts of the world to challenge his creativity.

With the flowers and leaves found in his backyard, he has made international collaborations with Maison Schiaparelli, National Geographic, UN Environment Goodwill Ambassado & The Pangaia, American Craft Council, and many others.
