A creative solution to end our million tonnes electronic wastes that contain many of the world’s precious metals is here, by reusing them to produce new challenging product, The Garbage Watch. The waiting list has now been opened for the purchase in Vollebak’s Future Releases page.

Vollebak, a London based innovative brand, created the watch product with a simple idea: What if garbage isn’t garbage? What if it’s simply pre-assembled raw materials that we can use to make new things.

The Garbage Watch, is simply built from the precious electronic trash like silver, platinum, copper, nickel, cobalt, aluminium and zinc.

In the August 2020 issue of Wallpaper* Magazine, it’s stated that: “The best things last a lifetime, accompanying our journeys and enriching our lives. So we shouldn’t simply be making more beautiful things, we should re-examine how, what and why we make and consume.”

The Editor-in-chief of Wallpaper Magazine, Sarah Douglas – invited creatives from different fields who have taken a research-based approach to current issues affecting the design industry.
